Stay Connected on Facebook and Receive Alerts

Once you login to your Facebook account through the ETP Network toolbar, you're never far from your Facebook friends.

How to Identify Market Demand For Your Skills

www.Indeed.com is the smart professional's tool of choice to identify market demand for your skills. Indeed.com is the Google search engine focused only on locating job opportunities . In nearly "real time", any job posted on the Internet will be located by Indeed.com. From unknown, obscure job boards to company web site job postings to Monster, Career Builder etc., Indeed.com will locate a job, within minutes of it being posted on the Internet. There is a caveat with using Indeed.com . . .

Looking For a Job is a Waste of Time
Do you really want to waste time spending hours upon days doing manual job searches on www.Indeed.com? Isn't it more efficient use of your time scheduling job interviews?

You can test your search before completing the Smart Radar registration form by going to www.Indeed.com first. Enter your job title / skill and your zip code. Within 25 to 50 miles of your zip code, search results should return 250 or more job openings that match your skill space. 250+ job opportunities will indicate serious market demand for your skills. This is enough to validate available opportunities in your space. Now you can complete the Smart Radar registration form form with your 3 search criteria each containing 3 words or less.

This puts your customized job search on autopilot.

Google, Yahoo, ETP Network Toolbars in Harmony

During our last free career coaching conference cal l, which had 68 participants, one person expressed reservations about installing the ETP Network toolbar. This concern referred to any web browser technical conflicts with having both the ETP Network toolbar and the Google toolbar installed. Other people may have the same concerns regarding the Yahoo! toolbar.

Our tests indicate there are no conflicts installing the ETP Network toolbar with either the Google or Yahoo! toolbars. This includes using Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox web browsers. Our experience is technical difficulties that appear to be toolbar related are usually web browser related. This appears to happen more often in Internet Explorer, than Firefox.

The ETP Network toolbar also contains no spyware or adware.

Add Your Own Toolbar Gadgets

Manage All Your Email Accounts

You can better manage your time by allowing the toolbar to notify you of new emails. If you're using Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail or another pop3 email system, the toolbar can be setup to connect to all your accounts.

You can hook the toolbar into multiple email accounts. This facilitates centralized management of your email. You save time by only accessing your email when the ETP Network toolbar notifies you of new email. No more wasting time by logging in to individual email web sites to find out you have no new email.

On the left hand side of the toolbar is the ETP Network logo.

Click on the down pointing triangle between the ETP Network logo and the magnifying glass.

From the pull down menu select "Toolbar Options" (bottom menu selection).

Click the "E-mail Notifier" check box

Adding an E-mail Account

Click on the "E-mail Notifier Settings" button
Click on the "Add" button on the right
For Account Type: click on the radio button for your email system
Type your email address
Type your password, if you want the Email notifier to automatically login to check for new email.
Type the the text label to distinguish each email account (i.e. Bill's Yahoo Account, Bill's Gmail account etc.). It's very important to type a unique label, if you want to manage multiple email accounts through the toolbar.
Once all settings are set, click the "OK" button at the bottom of the dialog box.

Start at step #2 to add another email account.

Click "OK" button once all email accounts are added.

Viewing New Email Through Toolbar

For computer monitors 17" or smaller there is a right pointing double arrow >> on the far right hand side of the toolbar. Click on the double >> arrows. For monitors 19" or larger you should see the Email notifier display right in the toolbar.
Within the drop down menu click on the email envelop icon.
Select appropriate email account that shows new email in parenthesis.

Quickly Access Job Search Articles and Tools

To save time, you can now quickly access the latest Job Search articles from the Career Swiss Army Knife Toolbar.

Clicking on Business - Career Tools pull down menu you can have:

1. Central access to LinkedIn, Indeed and the New ETP Yahoo Group.

2. Latest Strategic Partner events can be viewed through the toolbar calendar news [blue] ticker.

3. The "Links" section of the tool bar provides resume templates and business intelligence tools.

4. Access to quick Internet searches with the tool bar search engine powered by Google.

There quite a few other cool tools that come with this toolbar. . . Just play around with it.
